LQ.com is important for your property. You get a face on the Internet - the most powerful booking agent in lodging today. We continually work to ensure that information important to a booking decision for each of our properties, such as services, amenities, area restaurants, businesses and attractions, is complete, accurate, and up-to-date... and is easy to find.

We focus on the quality of the user experience on our site as much as the guest experience in our properties. For this reason, we utilize the latest technology, attractive graphics, and thoughtful navigation that helps create a pleasant and productive site visit while exploring what LQ has to offer. Our ultimate goal, of course, is to provide the best online experience that converts lookers into bookers.

Finally, we focus on search engine optimization so that we place high on the results list for searches. We place ads on relevant websites to drive traffic to LQ.com and we create landing pages for key corporate customers.

Field Support

Our field support is exemplary. We believe it provides the best service one-on-one - bar none - than anyone else in the business.

Our franchise service directors, who must have stringent and extensive levels of experience managing multiple properties, are at your property more than any other franchise company. They handle no more than 35 properties (the industry average is over 50 properties per field rep), and are expected to see their clients face-to-face a minimum of three times a year. Once your agreement is signed, you get a franchise service rep to assist you for the life of the franchise.

We believe in relationships, and they don't thrive in a swinging door.

Training

It takes an enormous amount of working knowledge to best handle a busy hotel. That comes from experience that can be duplicated with the right training. Our training program is great. There's just no other way to put it.

Our training for owners, managers, and staff - is thorough, detailed, extensive, and designed to help each individual understand, as well as execute the important aspects of hotel operation.

We are hands-on from before day one, offering a five-day mock training onsite before the opening, where the whole staff will learn everything they need to know.

Then we stay for up to four days, standing at your side during the opening, ensuring your staff can do their job smoothly and professionally in front of our guests. We even have a computer tech there during the opening process, setting up the computer, staying to make sure it runs properly.

We also provide plenty of ongoing training. Our corporate training department acts as your resource. And, at our national conference, owners and general managers get together for more training, breakouts, learn about new services, network, and celebrate achievements of exceptional performance.

Marketing and Sales

Our strategy to reach and influence our marketplace is shaped by four goals:

  • To constantly develop a better understanding of our brand and its users.
  • To craft and communicate a distinctive, memorable position in a way that motivates bookings.
  • To generate loyalty among our guests.
  • To build customer relationships that deepen and endure.

We do this through national advertising and promotion, field marketing, sales, our Returns program, and our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program. Most importantly, we help each franchisee develop their own unique marketing and sales program that targets the specific audience segments based on the markets and geography that make the most sense for their hotel.

Of course, our true overall strategy is much simpler. To create the world-class marketing organization in all of lodging. We're closing in on that one fairly quickly.

Design & Construction

In this important first step, we work closely with franchisees and are very hands-on to ensure consistent quality throughout all facilities under our flag. Every aspect of the interior and exterior appearance, layout, and design, is important to La Quinta. Our Design and Construction department will assist you with design, planning, and material procurement. We'll provide sample site plans for preliminary site planning. New construction projects will be based on our prototype documents. We have architectural drawings of two prototypical hotel designs in CAD on compact disks which will give your architect a major head start in the construction process.

Conversion properties are carefully screened to ensure they will meet our brand standards and are able to provide a consistent La Quinta experience to our guests.
